Dear Lake Como Champions,
I hope this message finds you well. I am excited to share with you an innovative program from Keep Lake Como Beautiful (KLCB) called "On My Block". This initiative is designed to foster a greater sense of community, enhance neighborhood safety, and promote active involvement among residents.
Keep Lake Como Beautiful (KLCB) is proudly owned and operated by the Proof of Life Community Development Corporation (PLCDC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This partnership enables us to effectively mobilize resources and foster community development specifically for Lake Como. PLCDC's official recognition by the IRS allows us to receive tax-deductible donations and grants, underscoring our commitment to transparency and public trust.

Every resident deserves to live in a great neighborhood—one that is safe, welcoming, and full of opportunities for creativity, diversity, and mobility. The On My Block Program works at the neighborhood level, empowering residents to care for each other and actively participate in community life through two key roles:
We believe that "On My Block" will make a significant positive impact on our community, and we invite you to join us in this endeavor. Whether you are a resident, part of a community association, or a partner, your involvement is crucial to the success of this program.
