What Is The Resolve Project?
The Resolve Project is a resident-powered accountability system being built by Keep Lake Como Beautiful.
It is designed for concerns that keep showing up:

Illegal dumping

Junked or abandoned vehicles

Unsafe streets, alleys, or public spaces

Repeated property-condition concerns

Blocked sidewalks or public access
-
Recurring public-safety concerns
-
Issues residents have already reported but still see happening
Resolve does not replace City reporting tools.
It helps residents hold onto the information that too often gets lost: what happened, where it happened, when it happened, what was reported, and whether the condition continued.
Why It Matters
Many residents already know how to make a report.
But reporting alone can feel like sending a concern into a void.
The Resolve Project is built around a different idea:
Residents should not have to carry neighborhood problems alone.
When neighbors begin documenting similar conditions across time, locations, and blocks, the community can see more clearly what is happening—and what requires follow-through.
Frustration is not a strategy. Receipts are.
What We Are Building
The Resolve Project was piloted last year. KLCB is now strengthening the resident engagement, documentation tools, and capacity .
The long-term goal is simple:

Help residents document visible conditions clearly.

Preserve photos, dates, locations, and service-request history.

Identify recurring neighborhood patterns.

Support organized follow-up and public accountability.
This work is not about blaming neighbors or creating drama.
It is about conditions, not character.
Proof over drama.
And the right route for the right concern.
