When you have a question -
but you do not know the lane.

  • I received a City notice, development notice, or case number and I do not understand what it means.

  • I reported a condition and I do not know what happened next.

  • I see a neighborhood condition and I am not sure where or whether to report it.

  • I want to understand a City process, public meeting, hearing, department, standard, or deadline.

  • I need help finding the right public resource, City department, or KLCB tool.

  • I have a KLCB, Porch2Curb, On My Block, 7-Day Challenge, or resident-participation question.

  • I honestly do not know who handles this. That is a valid place to start.

Office Hours is for civic navigation - not emergencies.

If there is immediate danger or an active emergency, call 911.

Ask. Route. Next step. Follow through.

1. Ask

Tell us what you are trying to understand, what you have already tried, and any case, request, notice, or location information that may help.

2. Route

KLCB reviews the question and helps identify the civic lane, process, tool, department, public record, or resource that applies.

3. Next Step

We help translate the information into a usable next move. That may be a City service request, a document to read, a staff contact, a public meeting, a deadline, a KLCB tool, or a question you need to ask next.

4. Follow- Through

When appropriate, KLCB may check back to learn what happened. Recurring questions may become an Office Hours explainer or resource so the next resident does not have to start from zero.

KLCB may not own the system.
We can still help you find the door.

KLCB does not control City departments, private property owners, courts, commissions, or public-agency outcomes. Office Hours is designed to help residents gain access to understandable information, identify the right lane, and leave with a clearer next step. When KLCB does not know the answer, we will say so and identify what needs to be verified.

The Office Hours rhythm

Thursdays
@ 10 a.m.

Questions are accepted anytime.

Thursdays at 10 a.m. is KLCB's standing Office Hours review window. Depending on what residents need, Office Hours may show up as a live conversation, a themed clinic, a short recorded answer, an appointment, a written resource, or direct follow-up.

Bottom line:

Access stays open even when the camera is off.

What do you need help figuring out?

Start with the question.
You don't need to know the correct department, program, ordinance, or process before you submit.

Give us what you know.

KLCB will use it to help identify the next lane or next question.

Office Hours provides resident education, civic navigation, and next-step support. Submitting this form does not create a City service request, legal claim, police report, code case, appeal, or other official filing.
